Over the last several months, our developers have been creating a suite of Agents designed to improve customer's smart home experiences and simplify programming. The Agents not only add key benefits to a customer's Control4 system, but they also save dealers time and money by automating a large portion of the programming process. 

Each of the Agents has been carefully crafted, honing years of experience and research to understand the needs of our dealers and customers. Email, Text, Push with or without a camera image, Voice, and other alerts have already been pre-loaded into each Agent. Want to add your own customized touch to the Agent software? Dealers can customize each Agent exactly the way they want it, down to the individual event. With Control4 OS3.0, dealers can use our Agents in Smart Home Dashboards to give your projects that pop it has been missing.

Introducing the Login Agent

Are you and your customers concerned with privacy in Control4 smart homes? Have you had a customer who is hesitant to integrate and automate their home because he or she is worried someone else is in the driver's seat?

We have the solution! The Login Agent allows customers to monitor and receive alerts of who logs in to the Control4 system. This driver will actively monitor logins to the customer's Control4 composer project and provide alerts both for local connection and remotely connected systems.

Customers can now rest easy knowing that they will receive alerts when their system has been accessed, and dealers have an audit trail of when your employees log in to a customer's home.

The Power Agent is a relay control driver that allows customers to power on/off devices and provides excellent troubleshooting services - all with sleek, user-friendly icons to represent each device. The driver gives customers a great power control dashboard for PDU brands like Wattbox, Pakedge, Panamax, etc. 

Looking to take your smart home to the next level? Energy Automation is here and is taking the home automation industry into the future. The Power Agent is also used to support features like circuit and appliance control from Control4 systems. Manufactures like sonnen, Lumin, Eaton and ADAPT use this software to control power in the home. This driver can even communicate with the sonnen ecoLinx driver to support energy saving solutions!

UPDATES TO THE SONNEN ECOLINX DRIVER

We made some exciting updates to our sonnen driver! With better weather integration and a fresh new look for Control4 OS3, the sonnen EcoLinx driver is better than ever!

The sonnen ecoLinx driver uses weather forecast data to dynamically modify the ecoLinx’s backup reserve setting. Why is this important? If the energy automation system detects a severe thunderstorm warning in the user’s area, the system will automatically increase the ecoLinx unit’s energy reserve percentage 100% to prepare the user for the incoming storm and potential loss of grid power. This feature has been improved by utilizing Dark Sky for weather data, which provides better analytics and access to multiple sources of weather data. 

The sonnen driver has new icons! We gave sonnen's standard on, gridloss, offline, and alert icons a fresh new look to go along with OS 3.0. The icons are now simplified and feature colors that mirror what you see on the actual sonnen batterie when these events occur. 

We also added Energy Profile buttons to the sonnen driver! 

These buttons represent scenes or modes the home and energy system can be set to. Have a customer that wants a setting for Summer, Winter, Home, and Away? Simply add 4 of the Energy Profile buttons to the home and label them accordingly.  Each button can be a different color to help customers distinguish between actions.  

The Energy Profile buttons can trigger a number of 'then' actions like notifications (push, email, voice, and navigator popups), announcements, lighting scenes, battery reserve levels, power on/off devices, and advanced solutions through Composer programming.

CINEGRATION DEVELOPMENT'S ADAPT DRIVER

The Adapt Energy driver communicates directly to the ADAPT Panel allowing Control4 systems to communicate to energy storage systems and control/monitor energy circuits in the home.  The ADAPT collects data about energy usage, configures the energy storage system, uses smart breakers during power outages and peak demand times, and automates individual devices to shed energy consumption.

The newest DoorBird Driver developed by Cinegration Development has been released, and we are very excited to share the new features and capabilities included in this driver!
