Driver Overview:

CinDev's NCD Relay driver allows clients to control relays for the NCD ProXR relay boards via their Control4 touchscreen or phone app. Customers can control up to 256 relays from a single IP connection.

CinDev's tekmar Driver Got A Facelift!

Cindev has just finalized a new version of the tekmar tN4 482 Gateway driver! This driver is a replacement to the existing tekmar driver and has a much cleaner installation and faster usability.

Features:

• Simplified installation

• Better addressing for thermostats

• Automatic driver configuration once driver connects with the thermostat

• Humidity Level, Humidify, and Dehumidify setpoints

• Auto, Heat, Cool mode adjustment

• Dual temperature monitoring

  • Tekmar thermostats support multiple temperature sensors. The driver has a selection to choose which temperature. This is located under the Settings tab in the proxy!

• Dual setpoint thermostats 

  • Customers can now choose which setpoint of the thermostat they want to adjust. Adjust the Floor setpoint or the Room setpoint via the Extras Tab.

Why Would You Need A tekmar Driver?

Tekmar HVAC systems are often installed in homes with radiant floor heating and special HVAC applications.

This driver takes information from the tekmar system and converts it to Control4 information using the existing Control4 Thermostat Proxy system.  That means you can provide the same solution to your customer with this driver as you do with normal Control4 thermostats.  All the information from the tekmar system is presented on the standard Control4 interfaces. Any changes made on either system are communicated to the other, making it a seamless integration.

Upcoming Changes to DoorBird Hardware: 

The dedicated terminal used to connect hardwired chimes to the DoorBird will be removed from all DoorBird intercom models as of 8/15/2020.

The DoorBird's onboard relay(s) can still be configured to trigger a hardwired chime when the doorbell button is pushed (please contact us if you would like details on how to configure this);

However, the dedicated terminal for this function will be removed.
